Solar concentrated photovoltaic energy

Contest Description:

The aim of the project is to develop technologies, mainly in the field of optics, to produce electrical energy via concentrated solar light. The name comes from Atem an Egyptian divinity that created Heliopolis, and Energia, energy in Italian. The logo, AtemEnergia,should remind the key ideas of:

-solar power,
-clean energy,
-efficiency,
-concentrated light.

Nyaruka - Rwandan Software Company

Contest Description:

We are looking for a low color logo (one, two or three colors) for a new software company being started in Rwanda named "Nyaruka". Nyaruka is Kinyarwanda for 'be quick' or 'go fast', so something evocative of that is a plus. We tend to prefer simple, clean designs over more complicated ones, something that has a double meaning with negative space would be extra cool. The logo should be able to stand on it's own or be beside the stylized company name. Extra points for providing some sketches for business cards incorporating it. So the themes: fast, technology / software, perhaps africa or rwanda if not hokey, and clean

Windy Ridge Alpacas Logo

Contest Description:

We need artwork in Illustrator 9.0 that will represent the company "Windy Ridge Alpacas."

It should have beautiful but simple artwork in 2 colors (fades are okay) along with their name in an interesting font.

Possible elements to incorporate:
1) a "windy" look with the giant cottonwood tree that greets you as you come up our drive, a cottonwood tree (not too blobby looking)
2) a windmill (an old-fashioned farm windmill) and
3) an alpaca. Must include at least one alpaca shape, a huacaya type alpaca (not a suri type alpaca).
    
Color possibilities:
Maroon and goldenrod
Or black and gold
    
Background information on the business: Windy Ridge Alpaca Farm is located in Homedale, Idaho. We sit on a ridge with a pretty unique view. From the front living room you can see the Snake River farm valley below us from Homedale to almost Adrian, Oregon. Out the back family room window you can see the Owyhee Mountains. This summer our neighbors will surround us with corn. At the corn's peak you can see our roof from the nearest road. (You really have to want to get to our 15 acres.) Attached are some pics from our place. The big tree is the cottonwood you see as you approach our place. The sprinklers show the wind and the Owyhee Mountains as seen from our backyard looking at our big hay field. The hazy pics are of the Snake River valley below us.

Contest Description:

I'm looking for an "elegant and scientifically credible" logo for the company CHI LLC which does business as CHI Skin Labs. It will be used on the website, B cards, letterhead, postcards, company signage,and email signature block etc. My target market is high end bio-cosmeceutical/skin care manufacturers OR institutional skin care providers for partnerships (examples include J&J Wound Healing; Natura - Brazil; L'oreal; Shesheido OR hospitals/professionals/distributors that care for chronic wounds). My end users are men/women 16-29 (anti-acne) and women 25-65 (anti-aging) OR Hospitals/distributors for wound healing. Ideally this logo will reflect our company's bridging of high-end science AND nature as well as earn immediate respect from CEO's and Global VP's of R&D/Licensing which is the organizational level that is most relevant. I do not want "cute" "earthy" or a pure "beauty". CHI means "life force" so the logo should tie in the essence of science-nature-a true "life force". I like minimal and clean. And I'd like to see alternative colors - I like the Tiffany blue color as it represents elegance, however, I leave it to you to offer contrasting color options that you might feel more appropriate for the industry.

We need a logo for a Electrical Firm. The Firmname is "Aerni Elektro“. The Slogan is „Wir sind auf Draht“ who is meaning „We’re on wire. USE OF LOGO: - all types of printed communication - all types of electronic media –website - applicable on different types of promotional items. The eps-file shows the Colour and the Font from the actual Firmname (how i can attach it?). And this existing lettering should be « completed » with a logo. We have had the title and the colour for a long time and people in this area have come to know it, so I would like to keep it. LOGO COMPOSITION: Combination of name (text) and visual element . We need a logo that is modern , but nothing to extraordinary. THE TEXTUAL ELEMENT: Consists of the name and the font like in the eps-file. The colour must also part from the textual element. THE VISUAL ELEMENT: Should be modern, simple, clean, stylized. THE COLORING for the Logo are not specified. Please note: we are in the CH and work Swiss based hours, which will affect when we give feedback ;--)) also we discute the logo-ideas in the management team. So the feedbacks would take a little bit more time.
